I acknowledge the traditional territories upon which I live and work, in the colonialized names of Calgary, Alberta.

I acknowledge the Niitsitapi (Blackfoot) and the people of Treaty 7 Region, now known as Sothern Alberta, which include the Siksika, the Piikuni, the Kainai, and the Tsuut’ina and Stoney Nakoda First Nations, including Chiniki, Bearpaw and Wesley First Nations. I also acknowledge this land as the home to the Metis Nation of Alberta, Region III.
